Lars Harder

AI Ponderer. Builder. Explorer.

Lars Harder is a strategic thinker with in-depth AI experience and a background in strategy and tech consulting. Currently enrolled in the Stanford AI Professional Program, he sits at the intersection of organizational strategy and applied AIdrawing on years of experience advising on digital transformation, and now how humans and organisations alike build new capabilities in the age of Artificial Intelligence.

On Nowable Lars writes about the questions that don't show up in AI benchmarks: what AI means for human autonomy, memory, and identity at work and in private. How do we steer our collective knowledge work toward a new and better future? What happens to human agency when cognition becomes a service? He explores these themes through the lens of our response to the technology as we encounter it.

Read the Nowable Manifesto for background knowledge of the the Nowable project.

The difficult thing about AI right now is the jaggedness of its capabilities and the dual use. Our brains aren't wired to handle something that is so intensely good and bad at the same time.
